Spinazzola back to training after surgery

After having suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, Leonardo Spinazzola is back to training with the rest of the Bianconeri squad. He posted the following on Instagram with the caption, “Back to training with the group, step by step.”

For a team like Juventus that fights to win all competitions it plays in, having Spinazzola back will surely help achieve this. Depth is very important in all positions.

Spinazzola is a left wing back that can also be deployed in midfield. During his time in Atlanta on loan, he showed that he can really help move the ball forward but lacked the necessary defensive capabilities. Nonetheless, he’ll be a great backup for Alex Sandro once he returns to full fitness. Not to mention in the right back role we have Cancelo with De Sciglio and Cuadrado as backup. Hopefully this group of fullbacks will help carry us to multiple trophies this season.

It was rumored that Dortmund was going to purchase Leo for a fee in the region of €25 Million Euros before his injury occurred. Wether this is true or not, I’m glad he’s staying at Juventus for the near future. As I mentioned before, Juve is going to try and win all competitions, so having a backup like Leo can only help this cause.

Anyways, I hope Spinazzola reaches full fitness soon and gives his all to win game starts.
