Juventus

Everyday when I wake up, the first thing I do is get my phone and check for any new updates from my top 3 Juve-covering Twitter accounts. To be completely honest, I do this every time that I have free time in the day. It’s a little excessive but I’m just really passionate about my team. I always look forward to anything new within my club.

In this post, I wanted to share all my go-to sources as a Juve fan. If you want to keep up with the latest news, discover reliable sources or simply to see the same thing from the perspective of another person, I highly recommend following any of these sources. If you don’t want to read of all this and get straight to the links, scroll all the way down. They’re all great.

If your main source happens to be something similar to trending article’s on Google, definitely disregard that habit. As most of you already know, most news sources can’t be trusted since they exaggerate and link everyone with a little bit of promise to all of Europe. Don’t forget, their business models are to sell their articles and bring in viewers by ANY means (clickbait).

Note: the first three are not journalist, they are analyst’s.

My top source is the administrator of a website dedicated to everything Juve (not sure what his name is). The same person that runs this website, is very active on Twitter and has an amazing podcast which is released about twice a month. In the website, you can literally expect to see everything from news, in-depth match previews, an archive of transfers over the years and everything else you can think of. Next to the official Juventus website, this is the next best thing in line. From his Twitter you can expect to see threads of player interviews, rumors, player updates and the very valuable opinions he shares about everything he covers. In the podcast, expect an in depth analysis of everything covered throughout the week, personal opinions and guest speakers.

My next source is Arjun Pradeep, a Juventus analyst which you can follow on Twitter. He’s always reporting the latest news almost as soon as it happens. He posts a lot of really good and interesting content. A good example of this is posting Italian newspaper covers that feature something Juve related, classic pictures with a brief lookback at our history, loads of statistics from our team and serie a as a whole among many other things. I have also really come to value his personal opinions on what he covers. He’s also an administrator/owner of “Juve Stats”, a Twitter account dedicated to exactly as the name implies. Super interesting statistics about our team and individual players if you’re into that kind of information.

Next up, there’s Khaled Al Nouss which you can also follow on Twitter. You can expect to know the most recent news by keeping up with his posts. A true Juventino with a passion to contribute to our beautiful community. His opinions are also good talking pieces if you like to engage with others online.

Lastly, coming in as the only journalist on this list, is Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. This source is the best one to look into for confirming transfers. What he reports usually comes into fruition. He doesn’t exclusively look into Juventus as he covers everything in Serie A. I don’t really check his posts out unless there’s some crazy transfer rumor and wish to see if he has said anything about it. A little note, all of his tweets are in Italian so if you don’t understand, Twitter provides a translation option at the bottom of the text.

Above all of these sources is of course the official Juventus website. Although, our club only confirms or denys certain changes made. It’s nice to know what goes through but there’s not as much excitement in that. If you follow any of the three analyst I mentioned, they will create a dialogue between us fans to talk about possibilities and our opinions. You won’t believe how interesting twitter got for our community when news broke of the possibility of Ronaldo coming (which as you all know ended up happening). I’m sure everyone just like myself was constantly checking for new updates, disccussing opinions and overall just hyping the situation up. Become part of this online community of Juve fans, I can assure you it will make you feel even closer to the club.
