EA Sports has released the official FIFA 19 Demo earlier today. The demo will only be available on PS4 & Xbox One. With the full game set to be available on September 28th, 2018 on Xbox, PS4, Switch and PC.
I’m sure many of you just can’t wait any longer to start playing the full game like myself. We have just a few weeks left but we’ll just have to settle for the Demo until then.

I personally don’t really like The Journey but I’m more than excited about trying out the long awaited UCL. It’s honestly about time they bought the rights for Europe’s biggest competition.
Juventus - Player Ratings

Our squad is one of the best in game teams. Our defense is stacked in all positions. We also have more than enough attacking players. Our only true weakness is the lack of another starting quality midfielder. Regardless of this, this team was set up to dominate.
My recommended formation

4-3-1-2
This is my most trusted formation. This formation is very narrow which allows you to attack through the middle. If the opponent’s formation neutralizes your ability to play through the middle, the partnership of Bernardeschi and Cancelo on the right flank will allow you to get into positions to cross into the box. On the left flank, count on Sandro to get the ball to Costa to do the same or even score himself. The defensive capabilities of this lineup is also very good even if you aren’t the best at defending. The partnership of Pjanic/Matuidi and Chiellini/Bonucci is a deadly one!

4-3-3
This formation is great for beginners and experts alike. You can have almost perfect balance depending on what players you start. You can literally play any style of ball with this formation. Counter attack, long ball, high pressure and even custom tactics. I put Bernardeschi as a left midfielder to be able to get the ball up easier with his dribbling skills. Although, you can definitely put Khedira in to be a ball winner. Bernardeschi’s defensive stats are almost non-existent. This part mostly depends on the difficulty of your opposition. This is also the current favorite formation of Juventus at the moment.

4-2-3-1
Lastly, we have the 4-2-3-1 that Juventus also deploys from time to time. I would definitely recommend only those with very good defending skills to use this. If you’re not confident on your defending ways, do not use this formation. Having so many attacking players up front leaves a lot of gaps in your defense. Make sure your midfielders stay back while attacking or else you might get overwhelmed in the counter attack if they are out of position. It’s a very risky formation but absolutely deadly in attack. I don’t even have to explain what having Ronaldo, Costa, Dybala and Cuadrado up front means. They are more than capable of beating the defense with their speed alone.
These are just some recommendations to experiment with in the Demo. When the full game comes out I definitely plan on going super in depth with formations, player instructions, custom tactics and roles.
It’s a little embarrassing to admit this but since having purchased FIFA 18 last year, I’ve invested 483 hours on Xbox One and over 100 hours on Switch. The only thing that makes me feel better about this is having a friend that has played for 726 hours, 143 hours more than myself. I think I’m just going to spend more time being productive on here during my free time. My eyesight is declining as a result but that’s beyond this post.
Anyways, enjoy the Demo until the full game comes out! Let me know what formations you like to use in the comment section below.
Forza Juve!
