Possible Juventus 2019-20 Kits Leaked

Footy Headlines has released leaked colorways of all three possible kits for the 2019-20 season. They had proved to be very reliable over the past few years so it's exciting to see what could come into fruition. Let’s take a look into the possibilities along with my opinion on the colorways and projected designs.

Home Kit - Black, Pink & White

When this kit first hit Twitter, there was a lot of disappointment expressed. It was reported that the famous stripes the Bianconeri are associated with would not be implemented. Instead, the kit would be half black and half white with a dash of pink through the middle. At the top of this post, there’s a picture that shows how this kit might look. I have to be honest, I don’t hate it. I think the pink adds a lot of character and looks really nice overall. It’s definitely an unpopular opinion. Although, I have to agree with the rest of the community that we should stick with the famous stripes in our home kit. This would make a hell of an alternate kit though.

Away Kit - Red

The away kit is reported to be a shade of red by itself. While I think the Juve logo would look great in front any color, I don’t think Red is a good choice. It reminds me too much of Milan & United. We also don’t have much history having red in our kits. In the 2005-06 the Goalkeeper and the Away kit had hints of red. They both were themed according to Italy’s green, white and red colorway. We then jump forward to the 2010-11 season were the goalkeeper and away kits were also themed around Italy’s colors. Besides those two instances, 2011-12’s goalkeeper and 2015-16’s away kit had a hint of red complemented by other colors. I wouldn’t mind a hint of red in a jersey like they did in 2011 & 2015, although not by itself.

Third Kit - Blue

I’m actually excited for a possible blue third kit. Unlike the Red colorway, Juve actually has a long history of releasing majorly blue kits. There’s easily at least 10 kits that were heavily blue. With the most recent ones coming in 2017’s beautiful goalkeeper kit and 2016’s away jersey. A lot of really amazing Bianconeri kits have come in this color and usually don’t disappoint aesthetically. It’s safe to say most fans will be the least worried about how this kit turns out since the home and away kit have a few things we might not like.
